Hi my name is Ashleigh Ziman and I am a junior, Unified Early Childhood Education major. I currently am the secretary for the club For The Kids, and have been with this club since my freshman year. This is my first year working for the DRIVE program and I am so glad I chose to apply for this job. Working for DRIVE has taught me a lot and does a lot of things for me. If I am having a bad day and I am going to work, my day can get better all because of the DRIVE students. I really like that these students/adults are included in the college atmosphere, and are enrolled in things like college classes. Even though this is my first year working for DRIVE it has made such an impact me and I do not at all regret my decision to work for DRIVE. It has also provided me with memories and experiences I will never forget!!

My name is Kim. I grew up in Fair Haven, NY and am currently a sophomore occupational therapy major. I love to spend time with my friends and family, appreciate nature, do crafts, and be active. I really enjoy working as a D.R.I.V.E. peer mentor!

Lindsay Holmes is an Occupational Therapy major and Spanish minor graduating in 2014. She is currently a Peer Mentor and has also been a Spanish tutor and Peer Health Educator at Keuka. She is actively involved in the Worship Music Leadership Team, Student Occupational Therapy Association, and Students in Crisis Response Team. In her spare time, Lindsay can be found volunteering at the Humane Society of Yates County.

Hey my name is Taylor Amo I'm a sophomore occupational therapy major. I love playing sports and dancing. My family and friends are very important to me. This is my first year being a DRIVE mentor and I absolutely love it. :)

My name is Tyler Hixson, i play basketball for the Keuka college mens basketball team. i like to be outside and hang out with friends.  I will be graduating in 2015. I am an education major with a minor in history. one of my faviorte classes is state and local.

My name is Brittany Gleason.  I plan to graduate in 2015 with a degree in both Business Management and Mathematics.  I like to play softball, help others, be outdoors, cook, and play the clarinet.  I like being a drive mentor because I get to help students accomplish their goals, while at the same time they help me accomplish mine.

My name is Jenna Bird and I am from the small town of Elba, New York. I will be graduating in 2015 with a degree in Unified Childhood/Special Education and a concentration in American Sign Language. I have greatly enjoyed working in the D.R.I.V.E. program, and I am glad I was given the opportunity to have the chance to work here! 

My name is Courtney Clauson and I am a Junior
Occupational Therapy major. I am from Dryden, New York, and just transferred in
from Tompkins County Community College. My favorite part of being a DRIVE
mentor is that I get to meet and work with so many interesting and fun people.
I look forward to continuing this job and hopefully making a difference here at
Keuka College.

I am a senior D.R.I.V.E. peer mentor and have worked for the D.R.I.V.E program for about 3 years. Every year that I have worked for D.R.I.V.E. I have grown more and more in love with the students, staff and program. Working as a peer mentor has not only helped me gain friends and great experiences, but it has helped me establish what I would like to do after college. After college, I hope to be working in a program or a company working with students with disabilities to help them achieve their goals after high school. I would like to also make more students aware of post-secondary education programs like D.R.I.V.E for students. After graduation I will be leaving Keuka with great experiences and memories thanks to the D.R.I.V.E. program.

Hi I’m Caitlin Francis and I’m from Albion, New York. I will be graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Science in 2015 and I then graduating again in 2016 with my Masters in Occupational Therapy. I started working with the D.R.I.V.E. students my freshman year and I absolutely love it!

My name is Savannah Fuller and I am 19 years old. I'm from
Philadelphia, NY (not Pennsylvania!) and I have an older sister and a twin. I
am majoring in Occupational Therapy and possibly minoring in ASL and
Psychology. I love the D.R.I.V.E. program and I'm glad I am able to be a part
of it!

Hello, my name is Samantha Hughey and I am a DRIVE peer mentor here at Keuka College. I believe that I have the best job ever! Working for DRIVE has been the most awesome and rewarding job.This summer (2012) I have been lucky enough to be chosen to be the Peer Mentor Assistant Supervisor.   I am going to be Graduating in 2014; with a degree in  Early childhood and Special Education, with family and child studies. I graduated from Odessa-Montour High school in 2010, where I was student of the month (November). After graduating, I plan on getting a teaching job in a low income school district, like at my home Town; hopefully teaching 1st or 2nd grade, maybe even teaching in a Nursery School. I love having all the support from my friends and my family i definitely couldn't have done it with out them.

My name is Lea LoPresti I am a Senior, I am a unified
childhood education major with a concentration in American Sign Language.  I have been working with the drive program
since freshman year and I love being a part of it!

Dee (Deanna) Metzger is an Adolescent Social Studies Education major from Buffalo, New York and will graduate May 2015. Dee hopes to one day become a high school Special Education teacher. Dee is also very involved on campus; she is in many organizations such as CAB, BAKU, Secondary Education Club, Special Education Club and Chorale. Dee loves working with students here on campus! “It is the highlight of my day going to spend time with all the amazing students and staff.”
