Portraits and Presentations
Portraits challenges the students to study a variety of topics, such as, historical figures, political figures, actors, cartoon characters, local celebrities, and others. The students will prepare a PowerPoint or poster to present to the class. This class requires students to spend time outside of class to prepare their individual presentation. This class will develop research and presentation skills.
So far this year students have created and researched the following topics, historical figures from Black History Month, “Unsolved Mysteries” like Big foot, their favorite television show, and many more. The students really enjoy being given a topic and being able to make it their own.
